The 10 Tenets
The Tenets
These principles apply to both the individual and the organization.
Accountability is love.
We are responsible for our actions 100% of the time.
Impact is always more important than intent.
Growth and adaptation are essential.
Everything we believe and practice is up for revision given better evidence.
Our literature and tenets are living documents and should be updated given better evidence.
We hold inequitable systems accountable and support people marginalized by those systems.
There may be explanations for harmful beliefs and behaviors, but there are no excuses. No one is entitled to cause harm because of their circumstances.
Trust is earned from beliefs and actions, not from words or membership to any group.
